COASTAL ANNEX CLERK I

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under routine supervision from the Coastal Annex Manager, perform a variety of simple to complex clerical operations relating to the various services provided by the Clerk of Courts at the South Walton County Courthouse Annex.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in secretarial or clerical work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities to perform the job.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Operate with appropriate speed and accuracy all standard business machines;
  • General working knowledge of assigned areas (traffic, recording, domestic relations, small claims, marriage license, passports, etc.);
  • Ability to type 35 correct words per minute;
  • Eligible to become a Florida Notary Public.
